Hydraulic Lorry Loader Cranes training throughout the UK
We provide a wide range of training options for all types of hydraulic lorry loader cranes with training courses for Novice, Existing and Refresher operators.
Course Member Specification
Must be over 17 years of age; medically fit with particular regard to eyesight, hearing and reflexes; have the stature to operate the lorry loader safely; be able to judge distance, heights and clearances; be agile and possess the physical to handle lifting equipment and tackle. Know and understand the relevant legislation required to operator a Hydraulic Lorry Loader Crane.
Training Course
On successful completion of training, course members will be able to:
- Operate the machinery safely and correctly in accordance with the manufacturer's operator procedures manual and in accepted good operating practices.
- Be able to operate the various attachments safely, sling and manoeuvre a variety of loads using the machine and understand the signals given by slingers and signallers.
- Clearly understand the causes of instability of the machine, its carrying vehicle and the loads carried
- Carry out correctly the routine pre-use inspection of the machine and its attachment in accordance with the manufacturer's operator procedures manual.
